Amy Lynn

Born in the small Nebraska town of Holdrege in March 1973, Amy Lynn was an artist from an early age. She was constantly drawing and painting, always encouraged by her mother, an accomplished artist and instructor. Coming from a very large close-knit family, she thrived in the comfort and safety of her little town, but always dreamed of the "Big City"; a cosmopolitan world filled with art, music and theatre that began to creep into her paintings. After earning a BFA in painting from the University of Nebraska in 1995, Amy Lynn moved to Minneapolis. For the next nine years, she lived and worked as an artist. As her real life fused with her artistic life, the romantic world in her art grew bigger and bolder. In 2004, she moved to Los Angeles, and today her exposure reaches world wide, in galleries and collections, both public and private.
